Day 1 – Arusha – Lake Manyara

Pick up from Arusha and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park. Distance 130km/ 2½ hours by drive,We arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and after lunch we head into the Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. This national park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.

Day 2 – Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti Plains

After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park distance 205km/ 6hours drive, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Day 3 –At Serengeti Plains

You will rise early to enjoy an early morning game drive in the Serengeti. At sunrise you may encounter animals grazing in the beautiful light of sunrise and predators may still be busy hunting before retiring to rest for the day.  Sunrise on the Serengeti is not to be missed and extraordinary photographic opportunities will abound at this magical time of day. You have the option to return to the campsite for a hot lunch or to opt for a packed lunch which can be enjoyed at one of the various picnic sites found in the Serengeti. After lunch you will continue on a game drive.  Around the time of dusk be on the lookout for lion. Cheetah can also be spotted on the plains in the early morning and late afternoon when temperatures are not too high. They rely on daylight and speed to catch their prey.  Hippo pods can be seen in the bigger pools and rivers while crocodiles can be seen sunning themselves on the riverbanks. Dinner and overnight stay at the Camps/ Lodges.

Day 4 – Serengeti Plains – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast we depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area distance 145km/ 4hours drive. We will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of the’Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution.We arrive in time for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure.Dinner and overnight at the Camps/ Lodges option requested.

Day 5 – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast we descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.

Day 6 – Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast we depart for the Tarangire National Park distance 155Km/  3½ hours. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings. After a picnic lunch we do an afternoon game drive.Dinner and overnight at the Camps/ Lodges option requested.

Day 7 – Tarangire National Park – Arusha

We enjoy an early morning game drive in the Tarangire National Park, followed by breakfast at the lodge. We will then transfer back to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha will we have lunch and then we will end our African safari adventure. The group should tip the guide around $20 a day. You will be taken to your hotel, which ends our safari services.

Day 2: Lake Manyara- Serengeti

Early departure and head straight for the Serengeti National Park passing through Olduvai Gorge, the renowned prehistoric and archeological site made famous by Mary Leakey’s fossil find. Arrive in your lodge in Serengeti national Park in time for lunch followed by afternoon  gamedrive.Dinner and overnight at your lodge/ Camp.

Day 3: At Serengeti park

A full day with morning and afternoon game drives to explore the endless plains and most famous National Park in Tanzania.Over one million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras concentrate in Serengeti National Park forming herds that migrate north and west in search of food as part of the annual migration. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge/ Camp.

Day 4: Serengeti- Ngorongoro Crater

Early breakfast, game en route while driving out of Serengeti to reach your lodge at Ngorongoro in time for lunch. Afternoon descent into Ngorongoro crater floor 2000 ft (670m) for crater tour. Ngorongoro Crater is home to lions, black rhinos, buffaloes, elephants and other grazing animals and birdlife.Dinner and overnight at your lodge/ Camp in the crater rim.

Day 5 –Tarangire National Park

Depart Ngorongoro crater after breakfast to arrive Tarangire National Park in time for lunch at your lodge followed by afternoon game drive. Tarangire National Park, measures 2,600 sq km’s and boasts a high concentration of wildlife second only to Ngorongoro Crater particularly in the dry season between August and October. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/ Camp.

Day 6 – Back Arusha

After breakfast, leave the Park and return to Arusha by lunch hour for drop off at your hotel.

Day 5: Ngorongoro crater – Arusha

Descend early into the  Ngorongoro crater floor 2000 ft (670m) for full day crater tour with a packed picnic  lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is home to lions, black rhinos, buffaloes, elephants and other grazing animals and birdlife. After lunch continue game viewing as you ascend Nogorongoro Crater  and leave for Arusha. Drop off at your Arusha hotel by 5pm or place of your choices .End of Kipok Safari and Tour services.

Day 1: Arusha- Tarangire

Depart from Arusha at  8.30 am with packed lunch on arrival at Tarangire Park followed by afternoon game drive, this park is situated only 160km’s from Arusha, measures 2,600 sq km’s and boasts a concentration of wildlife second only to Ngorongoro Crater. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/ Camp.

Day 2: Tarangire-Lake Manyara

After breakfast depart to Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunch for game drives. The Lake occupies large area of the park, the forest start just when you cross the park gate along the base of the Great Rift Valley. The park is home to Tree climbing Lion, Buffalo, Giraffe, Hippo, troops of Baboons, also Flamingo birds, Ostrich, and more… Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ Camp.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Maasai Village Ngorongoro

After breakfast, another morning game drive in Lake Manyara, then proceed on to Ngorongoro conservation area for a Maasai village visit to see their cultural lifestyle, and participate in their traditional dances. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ Camp on the crater rim.

Day 4: Ngorongoro crater – Arusha

An early descend into Ngorongoro crater floor 2000 ft (670m) into the rocky track with 4X4 safari vehicle for full day crater tour with break for lunch at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. Black rhinos, buffaloes, elephants and other grazing animals abound. After the amazing game viewing, leave the park and head to Arusha hotel/ drop off at your choice place where your safari ends.
